The simple reason for that is, when a A list celebrity start to go out with a Z list celebrity, you get a scenario as in Mel B and Eddie Murphy.

Somebody is gonna get dumped.

cos' they don't get to meet many non celebrities who are not some sort of hanger on or groupie! How many celebrities have normal lives? None! So they don't meet people in the way the rest of us do. They are in their gilded cages, surrounded by other similar people - Also, they are generally deeply suspicious of the motives of non celebrities...and usually quite rightly too!!!!

It's the difference in lifestyles. It's not really the celebs fault that their job isn't a 9 to 5 and invloves a lot of world travel (who wouldn't love that?) but it would be very hard to be with someone more 'ordinary' with a work pattern like the rest of us.

Not all celebrities only date celebrities. Some of the higher profile attention seekers do, and that's all you hear about in tabloids. But one thing is true, you tend to date people who are in your social circle. People who have similar "status" as you do.

Because most of them are too 'celebrity' and we're just nobodys. They think it wouldn't look good. Imagine if the Press found out *GASP*

They go for whoever will bring them the most exposure. It's all about getting attention for them - and a non-celebrity doesn't attract enough. Look at Pamela Anderson & Kid Rock - got married 3x, just for the exposure. LOSERS!!!!!!

I guess it's because it's hard for non-celeb to understand the life of a celeb. And also they mix with them more than with normal people.

They have little time to meet other people outside of their profession. They are limited by the pressures of their popularity, and going around in "normal" society is next to impossible because of paparazzi, crowds etc. Also how do they tell "serious" people who want to date them? They are overloaded with hundreds and thousands of men/women who want to date them.

u can't go out with people u don't meet. and since they don't meet us and actually have body guards to keep us away, it would really b a little hard. so short of someone picking u out of the audience and sending one of there flunkies to come and get u for a meet and greet, it isn't going to happen.
