Ive been looking checking out for laptops lately and I find Wireless LAN in the specs sheet all the time. My question is, does WLAN mean Wi-Fi or is the notebook Wi-Fi enabled? Someone Kindly explain. cheers!

When you see Wireless LAN in the specs in notebook/laptop it means they are built-in, and you don't need to buy a separate USB WLAN.
Regarding your question, if you found out notebook with built-in WLAN, then YES, they are wifi enabled!

Wifi is the comparable as instant lan confident. And confident you may connect a wifi enabled cellular to yor instant router. besides the shown fact that Wifi and bluetooth are thoroughly separate issues, so i don't know how you're connecting on your wifi with the help of turning on bluetooth.
