I would be the happiest girl in the world, because my little brother leaves for San Diego, CA USMC boot camp July 7. So, I'm scared, because that's my baby brother!

I think it would be impossible to pull them out in a week. I think attacks in Iraq would increase and that they would try to kill as many of our soldiers as possible. I think Iran or Syria would take over Iraq.

Most Democrats would agree (at least the moderates) that one week would be too fast.. we want our boys home.. but we want to do it responsibly.. and due to the failure in the Bush administrations policies we will not be able to yank them all out in the span of a week. Also, some of the attacks, those that are because it is America there, would stop.. those that are due to the nation being in a defacto Civil War would continue. This is why the best plan of action would be to have another nation do the policing for us.. one that is not seen as a threat for colonization.. such as Pakistan.

I would first think he was being a hypocrite after accusing the democrats of wanting to 'cut & run' for so long.
As far as attacks, more than likely they would increase into a full-blown civil war until one side had complete power over the other.

No, the attacks would keep going, as the religous factions are mostly battling each other, not the US troops anymore.

I think I wouldn't care since it really does not affect me in any way. I would glad the troops are coming home, but sad the job wasn't done.

I think the insurgents would step up the attacks, because they would know that we had given up.
