Have to do it my self or it will cost 700 dollars. Any pitfalls to watch out for?

just make sure its as empty as you can get it and usually the straps holding it in can break, soak them with PB Blaster about an hour before you start. watch all your hoses when removing or installing the tank and if its fuel injected i would recommend you replace the fuel pump and intake filter as well, you dont want to do it twice

Ok man this is a tough job drain tank un hook gas line un bolt the two strap that hold tank deconnect from fuel pipe ya now how ya feel it up. twist pump off . Put pump on new tank connect gas line bolt straps that hold it on connet pipe well ya get the idea

disconnect your battery.thenall youdo is remove the safety cover,then remove 2 bolts 1 on each strap ,use a floor jack anda block of wood to lower the tank use a screw driver to loosen sending unit ring.remove sending unit put it in new tank.install is the exact reverse.when u drop the tank lower it and disconnect your electrical plugs and fuel lines.just watch to make sure u do not strech themalso do not forget to unclamp your fuel filler hose this is where you put in your fuel.pretty easy job

fairley easy to do siphon all gas out of the tan k first un bolt and drop easy
