I've thought that too. Also Why do people get offended if you tell them how you feel when they are asking. This lady asked once. Do you like the names I want to name my kids. No I don't! She got all bitter about it and wrote me a little comment.

debate and discussion and argue are all different things.
debate is a controlled exchange of opposing views.
discussion is a mature way to communicate ideas, and offer opinions.
arguing is often the result of poor manners, lost tempers, and undeveloped communication skills.
if it drives you insane, then i must assume that you are the individual that leans toward the arguing side.
everyone gets into fights once in a while, but it's best to learn how to control your own impulses to be rude.

Very good question. Because they are stupid and arrogant and want to make their point no matter what or because they are afraid to lose the argument and have doubt in the depth of their heart.
