Why does my Chevy S10 occasionally refuse to restart when the engine is hot after a long highway run?

Possibly a vapor lock.

Had a similar problem: Starter armature expands when overheated; had to replace the starter.

most likely ignition modual is going bad. but make sure you have fuel pressure prior to changing anything

same as above and could be a vapor lock also
