Much of whatever one believes in goes on the principle of the Invisible Hand.
For many, if it can be seen, it cannot be denied (but along those lines, it's whatever you are willing to accept).

i'm an open minded skeptic so many times i need to "see" to believe, but there are times in life when you must close your eyes and take a leap of faith.

no because look around you. i bet you belived in santa when you where little but he was not real. God is real but unless you are a prophet you can't see, or speak to him. thats wat is great about faith. Believing is seeing, seeing doesn't have to be believing.
