Pantera were amaaaazing. Dime and Vinne Paul, Rex and Anselmo. Such a dam shame that they had to break up and then some military moron had to go kill Dime! WTF?

This was the first concert I ever went to with my father and I was a sophomore in high school.

I saw Pantera, Slayer, SoulFly and bunch of other bands...it was Vinny Paul's birthday and all the bands on tour did a huge drum tribute...I'll never forget it.

If you're really into them, I suggest checkin out David Allen Coe's latest DVD, they are featured on there a lot. Apparently, Coe and Dimebag *RIP* were really good friends and it was one of the last appearances he did before he died. Its very interesting, a kind of country meets hardcore kind of thing.

ahhhh, Pantera IS the greatest metal band of all time. With all do respect to Metallica, Pantera perfected metal, and never "sold out" their true fans.

vulgar, cfh, far beyond.... all 5 star material.... but i think one of the most under-rated albums in metal history has to be Great Southern Trendkill.... great stuff! and 101proof is one of the best live cd's you'll ever hear!

Sure i like Pantera, from the "CFH" or "Vulgar" period. Most of you Pantera fans don't even know why you like them, you think it's all just cause they wrote mad thrashing riffs - sure but that's only half of the picture. "Diamond" (i refuse to acknowledge "dimebag" ) had such control over his guitar, and he was influenced by so many other styles than what his fans realize, ....not even a clue..

I love Vulgar Display of Power.

That is such a bone-crushing CD.

Love "This Love" - Sounds like a classic ballad, then goes into this awesome heavy tune.

One of the ultimate heavy metal albums of all time.
