I dont know what the problem is. We have been trying for almost 4 years now. I am on my third bottle of Ovulex, and its not looking too good. We have both been checked out, and everything seems to be fine. I took clomid for 3 months and that didnt work. I had 2 IUI's done and that didnt work. I dont know what else to do. I know an IVF can be realy expensive and may not even work. I am sooo desperate too. I have been driving meself nuts over this. There are 2 people at my work who just found out they are pregnant and they really didnt want no baby. It just seems like everyone around me is getting pregnant except me. I guess I am just taking a little break now and trying to relax but its hard to relax. Everyone is like just relax it will happen, make sex fun and it will happen well I have been doing all that and nothing has happened. But I guess God will be there for me when he is ready for me have a child. Maybe he has different plans for me in life. Who knows but I know everything is in his hands. So dont give your hopes up. Just stop thinking baby for a while and just enjoy life period. It will happen when time is right. Like I said everything is in his hands and he knows what he is doing. If you ever wanna chit chat about anything you can email me any time. Good luck Girl and Lots of BABY DUST

My cousin and his wife tried for 10 years with no luck. They did all the fertility drugs and even did ivf. The dr. said that there was nothing wrong with either of them, BUT, after 10 years they decided to give up and quit trying, thats when they got pregnant, and now she is 4 years old. Sometimes just taking the stress out of it can help.

What has the doc said to you??? Have you tried charting your temps to know when you ovulate (timing can be everything). Have you been given any meds (like Clomid)?? Have you had an HSG??

There are many things involved with fertility and I just find it hard to believe that after 2.5 years a doctor would just say "nothing wrong" and send you on your way with no other options or finding something going on. If that is the case...HELLO...time to find a new doc/fertility specialist.

There is IUI...there is IVF...there are the trigger shots you can take....so many options.

You could always go the herbal route if you're willing to try it.

There are several websites of herbalists that treat infertility.

The only thing I have ever taken personally is Chaste Tree Berry. It helps regulate your periods and ovulation, and it worked well for me.

Look for information on these:
Red Clover Blossoms
Peppermint
Nettle Leaves
Raspberry Leaves
Chaste Tree Berry
Wild Yam
False Unicorn Root
Dong Quai (or ginseng for your man)
Ginger Root
Licorice Root
Black Cohosh

All of those are different and all can increase fertility, depending on WHAT the fertility problem is. Look up some info on them online. The safest one, to try first, is probably Ginger for both of you. People eat ginger every day. You can find it in pill form or in a tea, or make your own tea from fresh ginger that you can find at the grocery store.

I have also heard very good things about Fertili-TEA, which you can get here: http://www.allgoodegifts.com/

Click on SHOPPING, THE APOTHECARY, and then scroll down just a tiny bit. Choose Fertili-TEA for you and Male Fertili-TEA for him.

Before trying any of that you will want to consult an herbalist. You can email one at allgoodegifts@yahoo.com. Put "ask the herbalist" in your subject line. Read previous questions and answers on the website: http://www.herbnet.com/ask%20the%20herba...

Talk to your doctor and see if this is an option for you.

well there a couple of things that may or may not help. Are you going to the bathroom after having sex? if you are then dont, supposedly something about the urine or it running out im not sure but it will cause problems also something else i heard is that proping up your behind on a pillow afterwords will cause more of it to stay inside of you giving you a better chance. Also something that you will read in alot of places is that you need to have sex in a position that the man penitrates deeply when he is ejaculating(you know positions like doggy style). Hope that this helps you and good luck with getting pregnant

I had to try for 4 years, i know how you feel. Try losing a little weight if you are heavier, thats what helped me. Have your husband wear boxers instead of briefs, seriously, when he gets too hot down there its bad for reproduction. After sex, take a nap for an hour or two and stay laying down. Or just do it before you go to bed and sleep so his sperm has a better chance than standing. I think you are supposed to start having sex 11 days after the first day of your period. Hope this helps! Good luck!

How old are you. I know that I have only been trying for 6 months and it seems to take over your life. I am 38 and my husband is 46. I have been thinking of trying IUI over the past couple of weeks. Have you thought of anything like that or IVF for instance. If you want to talk more you can e mail direct at angela.rose-gorrell@hotmail.co.uk. xx

I am not sure what should be done there many cases of just unexplained infertility, and I am sorry for your pain, I would check out the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler" if you have not already it is filled with wonderful information and it helped me and my hubby conceive our almost 2 year old son.

Best of luck.

A baking soda douche just before sex is always helpful, as it reduces the acidity in the vagina. Try getting a "baby replacement" such as a small dog or cat. Women that are not so stressed out over conception have a lot better chance of conceiving.
