I have tried replacing everything on the brake system rotors, calipers, master cylinder, booster, ect. The brakes are very spongy. And yes I have bled the brakes. Over and over. No matter what I do I can't seem to get a solid pedal. Please help!!

Perhaps you are comparing this newly worked system to the way it felt before. People want a good confident feeling about their brakes, but sometimes when you change parts the feeling changes. This may not indicate a problem. First, be sure you aren't using any fluid. You might want to check this daily for a while. Do the brakes stop the vehicle? First step very hard on the brakes while you are stopped. This will find the weak spot if you have one. (You should do this occasionally with any older car.) Next find a place where you can really get on them while driving without creating a hazard and see if they lock the wheels or if they are antilock, do they perform as they should? Does the car pull to one side or the other? Then compare the pedal feel to other like vehicles with about the same mileage on them. Maybe have someone who isn't used to driving this vehicle drive it to see if they detect a problem with the way the brakes feel. Sponginess is sometimes a relative thing.

If the brakes are still spongy after you have bled them, more than likely you must bleed the master cylinder.

You should bleed brakes: Right Rear, LR, RFront and then LF. Be sure clean fluid comes out the bleeder to be sure you have bled long enough.

Good luck.

Try bleeding the master cylinder. and check your brake lines to see if there is a pin hole. make sure all of your bleeder screws are close real good.

try this, apply your e brake and see if the pedal firms up, if it does, adjust the rear brakes, if it doesnt then there is air in the lines somewhere......this is assuming you have rear drum brakes, if you dont let me know and we can go from there

Take it to a Chevy dealer, you'll probably spend more, but if they go out on you...THEY'RE responsible.
