I keep switching on the computer to do something constructive, like write my book, get my website in order etc. but I keep coming here "for a few minutes" and therefore get nothing done.

I don't think asking if anyone would care should be the question you are asking.
I think that it should be would you be missed. And the answer is that it is quite possible someone will ask a question that only you can answer best and that then you will be truly missed.
