Hi all, I visited the doctor about 4 days ago with possible phimosis, he gave me cream to help stretch and losen the skin and told me to use it for 2 weeks. Its worked quite well so far but now I'm convinced it isn't phimosis but frenulum breve.

I am travelling for around a year and I leave the UK mid Feb. So do you think I should carry on using the cream on the skin and the frenulum to see if that works for another week and a half or maybe go back to the docs asking about getting a frenuloplasty, I'm just a bit worried about the limited timescale I have and all the waiting for appointments etc.

Thanks a lot.

If the cream is working, I would say the doctor has the diagnosis right. Frenulum breve wouldn't respond so readily.

Dear Eric
Maybe you should consider getting circumcised instead.
If you got it done soon, it would safely heal by mid-Feb. next!
And there's some very Cool, well-done, cuts done lately.
Get yourself a good urologist.
(PS I took from personal experience)
Best wishes,
Nick
