I also worked in an office, where i was sitting and typing all day. I gained 30lbs in a year and had severe wrist pains. About 2 months after I quit, I lost all the wieght and no more pain in my wrist..............

If you are going to continue working there, your going to have to learn how to type properly and make sure you try to make ur tasks at work as less repeatitive as possible. And, DONT EAT AT YOUR DESK. No junk food, pop etc. At lunch eat healthy meals, because you arent going to burn any calories by just sitting there. I promise you will see a good outcome if you follow these steps!!!!!

No correlation unless there is excessive water retention. This would only indicate the condition of the wrist was present but the excess fluid would make the movement a bit more restricted or more symptomatic. If you are left handed would add emphasis to my statement.

The usual problem with the wrist is one of the carpal bones (7 small ones) has come out of its normal position and has created some edema within the capsule around it. It would often feel like a "catch" and can be reduced very simply. A visit to your local doctor of Chiropractic may be in order.

Yes and no. You might be sitting at an odd angle while you're typing- which could cause the wrist pain. And because you're sitting, there would probably be some weight gain.

Duh you have a sit down job so you gained weight from lack of excercise. And at your job where you sit and do not excercise you type so you probally have carpelltunnel in your wrist
