I would take another one to be sure. They are accurate but not 100%. Yes, it could mean that you are pregnant but your hormone levels are low (they will increase with time). Take another one, maybe another brand and good luck!

You shouldn't have read it again because now you'll be wondering ....
Honey, that is an evaporation line. The pee on it has started to evaporate (because that's what liquids do) and the line of 'indicator' on the test, which would have turned colors if it was positive, is 'catching' some of the pee. Since the rest of the window now has LESS pee, from the evaporation, the line looks darker in comparison.
That is NOT a positive. It is an EVAPORATION LINE.
Look at the instructions that came with it if you still have them. It should say something like "do not read result after ten minutes due to risk of misinterpreting an evaporation line" or something similar.
As you can see, if the instructions say not to read it after ten minutes, you certainly should not read it after a DAY.
I understand the temptation, though! Throw it out so you'll quit looking!
If your period hasn't come in another few days take another.

I would take another one just to be sure! My guess would be that maybe you looked to soon after you took it. I know I have had a negative test, and gone back and looked at it like 15 minutes later. Guess what, still Negative! You could very well be pregnant, there is not a lot of reasons you could have a positive. It is measuring your Hcg levels, if they are there, then they are there.

It's still negative. It clearly says on the directions to discard and dont go by the results after a certain amount of time. Its called an evaporation line, which will always show up after a while. So yeah it was negative.

Don't look at it after 10 minutes! if you waited the three minutes (or whatever the directions said) and did it right, with first morning urine, then you are not pregnant. You COULD still be pregnant, and just too early to have enough hormone to try.
If period is late, then try again.
