Its possible there was such a person, there is also a possibility that the description is a composit of several people living in that time. There are no written accounts by eywitnesses. The New Testament is based on oral traditon, written down about a century or so later. and lavishlly embellished by the monks who were transcribing the text for use in the various churches. Some of the added text were explanations or personal notes written in the margin, which in later transcriptions became part of the text.

the actual person of Jesus did exist, no doubt about it. the myth lies in his divinity.... but it is a nice myth...A priest called Arius always said in the IVth centruy AD hat Jesus was the son of God but had also a human nature, denying the myth of the Holy Trinity. He ran into serious troubles and even had to face the wrath of Emperor Constantin who was the big pal of the Christians. In 325 AD, Constantin summoned a council at Nicea, which decided that God the father and Jesus the son were of the same substance (homo-ousios in Greek). This concept gave birth to the notion of consubstantiality meaning that God and son are made of the same divine stuff and that Jesus can not be human and divine. He is divine. Here lies the myth and this myth became the official doctrine of the Catholic Church since AD 325. Arius was then excommuniated. As you see the Catholic Church is a monument of tolerance and mythification.

Depends on your religious beliefs. There are no census records or the like to prove it. Jesus was written about by a number of different people in Bible. It is hard to believe that multiple people had the same dilusions. If Jesus was not the son of God, then he was at the least someone very special to get that much attention. And yes, the Bible is real. It is a collection of words from multiple writers of the time. Their stories and places are backed by historical fact. Again, why would so many writers of multiple places write of the same things.

No way anyone can be 100% sure because there's no one who was living at the time Jesus allegedly walked the Earth who is still alive and can attest to His presence here. However, I can tell you there's more documentary evidence of the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (not including The Bible) than there is to prove that Christopher Columbus found the new world in 1492. Google "Christian Evidences" and you'll see just how much "other stuff" is out there.
