My firewall program keeps detecting an IP address and I would like to trace it back and see what or who it is that wants into my computer.

Say the address is 203.101.11.143...
Start button
Run
Type in: tracert 203.101.11.143
It will show you all the routers and server between you and that IP.
You will probably NOT be able to get all the way to the "person" using the IP, but you should be able to find the ISP it is coming from.
If the address continues to attack your PC, contact the ISP and let them know.
