If you don't want to have a child and don't want to mess up the body get an abortion I know from past experience that birth control fails you have a 12 year old so that means you have been using something. Having an abortion is not the end of the world but having a child you don't want can lead to disaster. I would do what you seem to know is best for you and your family even if it is not the easiest decision many hard decisions are not easy.

I miscarried my first child at 2 weeks after conception (also called 4 weeks pregnant). It was seriously one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through. I had NO idea I could become so attached so quickly to the little life growing inside me. I will know that I lost a baby that day--not just some cells, you know?
I know sometimes it can feel like abortion is the only way out of the stress you must be feeling right now, but it's "benefits" are only short-term--every woman ends up dealing with it in her own way down the line (check out testimonies on www.afterabortion.org).
Have you considered carrying the child and putting him/her up for adoption? There are a lot of people and resources out there for moms facing unplanned pregnancies. You can find your local Pregnancy Resource Center here: www.pregnancycenters.org and they offer free help/services with an emphasis on local resources.
I will keep you and your little one in my prayers! God bless!

As for the development of the baby at even a VERY young age, I found this on www.babyzone.com. It's about the development of the baby at 4 weeks (2 weeks after conception--which is where women usually are if they just missed their period):

At two weeks old, and after implantation, your baby-to-be is officially an embryo. This week the embryo will grow an amniotic sac and a yolk sac. The placenta, which will nourish your baby until birth, is beginning to form. By now the backbone, spinal column, and nervous system are forming. The kidneys, liver, and intestines are starting to take shape and your baby's facial features are already emerging. Soon (if not already), that magical heartbeat will throb. The embryo is only one-sixth (about the width of a pencil) of an inch long, but is rapidly developing.

So many women NEVER get to experience the gift of pregnancy and parenting. Even though you may not feel like it right now, it is a blessing and your baby is a blessing. I will remember you all in my prayers. God bless!

If you cannot take on the responsibility of a new child you should put it up for adoption. There are many parents out there that would love to have a family.

No offense, but you should have thought of all this before having unprotected sex. Get a grip and do some soul searching. Do you want the baby? Will you be a good parent? If not, there are options (abortion, adoption) but you will need to decide soon. Good luck!!

well, there's abortion, which depending on ur personal beliefs may not be the best solution. or adoption is another alternative. there are lots of people out there just dying for a baby and since you have an "extra" why not help out someone else and save yourself from having a child that isn't going to be exactly what you desire at the point in your life.

well, abortion is not the answer if that is what you are getting at. Try adoption there are plenty of unfertile couples who would be more than willing to give this child a beautiful life. Afterall it's not the baby's fault that u don't have time for him or her.. Let me give you a little secret for the next time.....Birtcontrol!

My own belief- not that it hast be yours- is thatno person that is conceived is a mistake. The person came into the world, possibly, by a mistake- but, once they are a soul you hve the same responsibility to them as you do your other child.

Shame on you for having unprotected sex! If you didn't want a baby you should have abstained. Obviously your only option is abortion if it is your body getting fat that you are worried about, so that is between you and your maker.

By the way...the reason I said abortion is because she said she doesn't want to get fat, etc.....I am not advocating abortion, hence the comment about it being bwtween her and her maker (GOD)
