Judging them is simply forming an opinion. You have just judged. Being loving doesn't mean you condone a certain type of behavior.
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:"
Firstly, you lack proper understanding of that scripture. Jesus was being judged by the traditional law of men who thought they were judging Jesus rightly using part of Moses law and they called it God's law. Some of the good He was doing on the Sabbath which they were ENVIOUS of Him for doing and accused Him of healing by the power of Satan and He told them not to blaspheme the Holy Ghost because it won't be forgiven was this:"And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed" (Do it again Lord!) He certainly JUDGED THEM when he said "Who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?" and when He called them an ADULTEROUS GENERATION OF VIPERS, HYPOCRITES." didn't He??
Secondly, He said to love sinners, turn the other cheek and pray for them who despitefully use you, (especially when thump the Bible here at Yahoo and they scream foul and cuss when you say it's a sin but they can be SAVED), He said you are blessed when they revile you for His namesake, so they've been blessing me a lot here and I've not reviled them back knowingly or intentionally anyway). Jesus is warning them of hypocrisy and saying it is alright to do good on the Sabbath because He is Lord of the Sabbath. Homosexuals aren't like healing people on the Sabbath.
Thirdly, He told them they left off JUDGMENT, MERCY AND FAITH and were straining at knats and swallowing camels. Are you swallowing a camel doctrinally?? A balanced wise Christian will include righteous judgment, mercy, faith and love altogether. They'll not be a wishy-washy God is love and doesn't care if you sin yourself all the way into hell! Blind guides these and both are DITCH-bound.
Fourthly: this verse follows the one you quoted:
"And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?" You like need to see the truth before you can lead anyone else into it. Fifthly: "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" Be without guilt of the same problem before helping another get rid of their sin because the thing in them that looks big to you like a "log" or like a toothpick is really a splinter in your eye blocking your vision to help the other person!
Sixthly: Every tree is known by it's fruits. Good trees don't bear evil fruit, evil trees (people) don't bear good fruit. You won't find figs on thorns or grapes in a bramble bush. (Jesus said "Thou hast rightly JUDGED")
Seventh: How to be a fruit inspector: "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."
So, if someone is speaking against Jesus Christ, using foul language, telling you there is no God, that is bad fruit. If they indulge in sexual immorality, that is BAD FRUIT. So, when you bear good fruit, you can see clearly to help someone else.
These scriptures in no way tell you to be unkind to your homosexual friends but they also tell you to recognize them by their fruits which means you should in love witness to them of God's pure Word and warn them of the consequences of disobedience to His Word and what God has to say about their sins if they aren't covered by the blood of Jesus come judgment day because if you really love them, you want them to go to heaven with you, right?

People judge homosexuality because Religious Activists manipulate the information to make it seem like homosexuality is above any other sin. They pick and choose what they want to believe from the bible and than project it onto others. Half the people who say they hate gays probably haven't even read the bible in full detail otherwise they would know that it also states that no sin is greater than another...

I agree, I'm Catholic that part of Christian is very conservative, I'm not. I love everyone despite sexual orientation etc. It is not my place to tell them they are going to hell because I don't know. Yes it is stated in the bible if a man lies with a man as he does w/ a women it is an abomination-i don't recall he said they will go straight to hell, etc. To God a sin is a sin, if being gay is a sin then that's a sin someone who steals have committed a sin-since its all the same then would that person who still go to hell as well? We don't really know because God is a loving and forgiving God-only he can judge.

Depends which part of the Bible you follow.

The New Testament says "turn the other cheek", whilst in the Old Testament Jehovah turns people to salt and kills children with bears.

And I personally question your phrasing.
"I dont care if the person is gay, lesbian, bi, or even transgenderd."
"Even transgendered"? You consider us less worthy of acceptance? Maybe you just phrased it badly.

How ironic to read "unitedwestand's" reply: "well if the Bible says homosexualism/lesbianism is wrong - I'm not judging according to my belief - I'm judging because The bible support me!! so we can judge according to the Bible - and that's valid "

As if the Bible is followed by every religion or believed by every inhabitent of the planet.

He doesn't even see that by using HIS bible as an excuse to hate and judge, he is breaking his own religious beliefs to "not judge" but is justifying it through his personal beliefs. Talk about circular thought! WOW!

Good for you. Too bad more fundies wouldn't get off their high horse and stop pretending to be spreading the love of Christ when, in reality, they are inciting intolerance and bigotry.

This is not an anti-Christian answer. This answer applies to everybody everywhere and everywhen -

"Rules are made for other people."

"Most people can find lots and lots of reasons to break rules because they have a GOOD reason."

IMHO

For the same reason anyone condemns others: to feel better about oneself. Of course it's hypocritical and un-Christian, and the even greater irony is that many of the most outspoken homophobes are reacting against their own unconscious homoerotic desires.
