It doesn't usually happen to me but last week I had diarehea for a few days, then my period tried to start and stopped, then it started again on the trip to see him. Then I felt like I was coming down with a flu or cold. I've been taking vitamins and I'm on anti-depressants. Guess it is stress eh?

It is definitely the stress this can delay your period, and give you diarrhea, the flu like symptoms are probably where you're run down, it must be very hard at the moment but you must slow down what use are you going to be to your husband if you make yourself ill from exhaustion, good luck i hope everything works out for you both

It's stress that has been accumulating over a long time ( I assume your husband was ill for at least couple weeks prior to the surgery). It will end soon. You might want to talk to a doctor, since you might need extra vitamins (usually vitamin B) or iron to cope with the stress.
I hope your husband recuperates quickly.

I would recommend going to your doctor to make sure you don't have some virus that's floating around. If your husband has cancer (especially if he'll be getting any treatment that will compromise his immune system) It's important that you don't infect him with anything so soon after surgery.

If he's been in the hospital and you've visited him, you could have picked any number of bugs from sick people.

your body is very tired in all that whats been going on with your husband plus the new induction to the medications that you are on could have triggered your body to what you can call rebooting itself
