I read an article a few days ago about a young man who endured abuse and molestation by both parents.. and when his dad left his mother molested him till he was 14 eventually he tried to get away from his mothers control but she refused to let him go and he killed her..
dealing with molestation is different for everyone. some turn to doing what happened to them and some completely shut them selves off from the world.. Girls will be afraid of men when they are older and old enough to be in relationships.. or others will become permiscuous thinking that no man will have them knowing what happened to them.. its a viscous cycle..
How many times have we heard that a child has told his or her parents that they were molested and have been told that they were liars.. but when it comes to light that their are other victims they change their story and claim that they never knew what was going on..
the ironic thing about child molesters is that the justice system puts them in protective custody.. or they are let out into half way houses situated in family areas.. like whats reallty going on here.. why are we protecting someone who has touched children in inappropriate ways.. and let him out to do it again..

Unfortunately that is usually the case unless they get intensive counseling. I have worked with sex offenders in the past. All of them were victims of molestation and/or rape as children. It's a cruel and vicious cycle that is very difficult to stop.

unfortunately , yes children that are molested end up having a hard time with their sexuality. many times as these children grow they end up with bad sexually outlook on life. some become very unsexual and closed because they feel guilt from the situation. others become over sexual active wanting a real relationship. others end up in the gay lifestyle because it was a member of the same sex that touched them.

not all will. but there are studies that say that a large number of perpatraters used to be victims themselves. it is a vicious cycle that is only stoped when a victim seeks help and comes to terms with what happend and acknowledges it.

Some will, some won't. It depends on the genetics AND the environment.

unfortunatly yes...it can happen. it's very important to get them into counselling so they can learn right/wrong and how to control it.
