I know that some people really want to make it in the acting business but I would have some type of standards. I've never seen anyone in those commercials on any movies. People will be thinking of them as the Genital warts boy/girl. They would be known as THAT guy/girl. Would you ever do a commercial like that? I know I wouldn't.

I and you know better that these people are just actors but some people take this seriously. Some people watch too much television and start believing what they are seeing. Strange but true.

Most actors are struggling to get the bills paid and any work will do. Also, very few people take enough note of commercials to remember the people they saw in them months or years later. I would that commercial if my rent was due or my fridge was empty.

The next time the show "Before They Were Stars" comes on, check it out and see what a lot of today's biggest stars did before hitting it big. Some had far worse jobs than appearing in commercials. And for that matter, only a nimrod would think that the person in the commercial actually had genital warts. Most people know that it's an actor.

Do you know what the pay check is for those commercials? Do you know that they get paid again and again and again everytime that commercial runs? Do you know that it gets their faces on TV and gives them a professional credit on their acting resume's that might not be there before that can get them into professional theatrical productions? You don't have to say that you HAVE genital warts in those commercials - only that you are or are not aware of what they cause - cervical cancer. Welcome to Hollywood!

sure why not..some people do commercials for the money is all..no need to pursue a career out of it..and i dont see whats the difference between doing a commercial about warts then a commercial about your period cramps or any decease in particular...all commercials are made for one thing, to sell..isnt that messed up ? if they paycheck is good, you can call me wart girl all you want..lol.besides who is to say those people arent really infected,,and if they were, would that make em any less than anyone else ? no..

Maybe they or a friend has been affected by it. Or yeah, like you said they just don't give a crap about being seen as the face of genital warts. So to speak.

Well, just the pay for being in any commercial is a pretty good chunk of change just to be on the set for the making of it... on top of that you get royalties for every time it airs... Think how many times you saw that herpes girl riding her bike... she gets paid every time that's aired on any TV station in the country! You can have several years worth of pay just for being in one of those spots. Sure, you can sign me up... I'll be wart boy for that kind of pay! If I'm lucky I'll be pathetic enough that I'll be wart boy for a series of commercials rather than just one.

I wouldn't, but there are those weirdos who are attracted to the $3000 they get every time the commercial airs. Getting a $33,000 residual check in the mail every month can just ruin some people.

If my acting career was going no where and my kids needed to eat, i wouldn't give a sh*t if you thought I had warts or not. As long as i got paid. I guess i am at that age where i don't care what people think of me anymore.

NO no no! Makeup will only make them stand out more. What I did was let my bush grow wild, so as to maintain my secret. This has worked well for me. So far I may have possibly infected 1000 plus men and about 90 women in the last 3 years!
