Put your make and model into the boxes on this Crucial website and you will get information on max ram and how to fit it, also can supply the correct type. I've used them many times, usually next day delivery.

As you did not give make and model, it is hard to be certain...
But most laptops can have their RAM upgraded. Check the manufacturers website for information on what kind of RAM you need. Often you can purchase the RAM right from the manufacturer online, or get the part number and search for it elsewhere (Kingston.com is a good site)
Most laptops have a small door in the bottom of the laptop. Open it and you can see the memory. Usually you push back a little clip on each side of the memory, and it pops right out. Push in the new chip and you are done. Most people can do it themselves.

Compare what your laptop has installed with the capacity for your laptop. If the capacity is greater than what you have, then the answer to the first question is "Yes," otherwise it is no.
If the answer to the first question was "No," stop now.
If the answer was "Yes," buy as much memory as you want/need/can afford. Note that memory configurations vary, and you may end up consigning to the scrap bin your existing memory. For example: Your laptop may have 2 slots for RAM. They both must be filled. You have 1/2 GB of RAM, but your capacity is 1 GB. You would need to REPLACE the two 256MB RAM chips with two 512MB RAM chips to achieve the 512MB increase. That is simply your loss - sorry.
Review your laptop-manufacturer's website for a DIY article on memory replacement. If you find the article, then the answer to the second question is "just about anybody." Otherwise, your laptop-manufacturer should be able to provide you with a link to the service-centers in your area that can do this for you.

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/zFzuy
As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

Yes. Go to www.crucial.com and have your memory scanned and it will tell you the minimum and maximum capacity of your computer. To install the memory go into your pre-installed owners manual and look under system information. Follow the link and you will see instructions about removing and installing memory which is also known as Random Access Memory.
