And you are crazy about someone, when you change states, and don't contact that person for days, do you hate them? are you suddenly dissinterested? Or do you just need time to yourself? (thanks again!)

Don't forget the issue isn't so much about you, it's about the bi-polar condition. Hate? Probably not, but may vent in harsher ways. Disinterested, probably, but more about being too busy being depressed to be thinking of anybody.

A calm, nonthreatening call is a good idea to make sure they are okay.

This has NOTHING to do with being bi-polar, it is simply the variations of human personality and does not neccessarily mean the same thing each time. It varies from person to person, time to time, situation to situation.

i only have a limited experience with this one but it is a personal experience and i would like to share it with you. deppresion seems to make people question themselves and their decisions to a point of no return. love, life, and laughter, can be dealt with by our feelings and our minds. excess of one can leave us lacking in the other. sharing life with others is best learned as a pair. if you are trying to deal with your life by yourself what does that mean to you? is this person aware of moods? are you comfortable enough with yourself to inform them? dealing with your feelings is a personal experience and there is not a right or wrong way to do so. the questions you ask can be answered only by you for they lie within your mind and heart. i can from my experience relate that i've had the same questions on my mind. finding positive decisions to make about your life and acting on them is all i know how to do. that's not to say that i'm always right but i feel it's important to try and learn to accept the outcome. you can always start over. best wishes in all of your endeavors...
