The government and media want to point to the individuals who "frauded" the Government....but the truth of the matter is that these people were able to get away with it because the Government WAS so flippin' incompetent!!!!! They are too dumb to even realize that!!!!

The fraud is being perpetrated by more then a few. FEMA is trying to fix its mistakes, but criminals are still trying to take money not owed to them, pretending to be victims. How long should people get a free ride?

Both. You have to decide what FEMA actually is. It is not a first responder. It is, however, and extention of government and therefore incredibly incompetent. It is there to help but not hobble, which it frequently does. People end up depending on govenrment when they shouldn't.

Why DWELL on either? Why spend your time stirring up reaction and not doing one thing to solve the problem?
You seem to operate under the mis-conception that a bunch of angry young Americans are going to accomplish some positive social change.
All I see is a bunch of angry young Americans marginalizing themselves and ruining their lives.

Really makes me mad to think that Government Agencies can waste tax payer dollars. On Katrina and even more on the rebuilding what we destroyed in Iraq. We must all be a bunch of pansies, because otherwise this Government would have known they could not waste our dollars that way.
