I'm not sure where you live, but it's everwhere here in Indiana....if you look around even at the grocery...Indiana is very overweight! I live here, but my husband, son, and I all are fitness and nutrition freaks...we work out 5 days a week and eat healthy! When we vacation in Florida, we do not see many overweight people, so I think it depends on where you live.

Well, San Antonio is always in the top 10 of the nation's fattest cities, while Austin, only 90 minutes away, is always in the fittest.
We eat really good in SA and we drink even more.
OH, and no, I'm not obese, but I have relatives who have reached that status and luckily decided to do something about it.

What you "consider", versus the definition are probably very different.
Thankfully, I'm not obese...my weight & BMI are right on target. :-)
But there really is a serious problem with obesity, especially w/ children...

I think they consider people over a certain IBM obese. So a lot people you think are just chubby are obese.

Nope...And I was wondering the same about the 'epidemic', is it blown out of proportion? There are alot of overweight Americans, though.

Nope. Dragon is not obese. Dragon just has a couple extra pounds on her for padding, especially when it is cold.
