....the cops are too lazy to get out of their warm and toasty squad cars to ticket us? Do you think there is any truth to this?

FYI, I speed occasionally, but usually I take my time especially when the weather is bad. If I wanted a lecture, I'd call my mother.

Yes most definitely. However there are some officers that are traffic nazis and will pull you over. As for me I know I kept my butt in the car when it was cold or wet!

No... I got pulled over once because the officer said I was driving erratically and asked me if I was drinking. It was about the worse snow/freezing rain storm of the winter and the roads were a freakin skating rink. It took all I had to not get out of the car and tackle him.

It's possible except for the Town where I live in which a lot of the cops are macho a*holes who would pull you over rain or shine!

No! If it is freezing outside and there is snow or ice on the ground I bet you are one of those people who drives way to fast and then hits a patch of ice slides and causes a big wreck!
Just because the weather is cold dosen't give you permission to speed!

It is totally true. My big brother is now a Federal cop, but started out as a regular street copper in Chicago and he admitted this fact! lol

no. i think they come out whenever no matter what the temp is. ive seen them pull people over in very cold icy rain.
