It wasn't an online test, I took an IQ test along with my ASVAB a couple of weeks ago. That was the score I received and it said something about having the mind for invention..
as for ASVAB, my score was a 63.. I'm pretty psyched about it.. :)

The range from 85 to 115 is considered low average to high average. However, which test did you do? Was it an on line test? If so, remember that they are not real IQ tests and they tend to score higher than the real ones. The standard real IQ tests in use today with adults are the Stanford Binet and the Wechsler.
An IQ score is just that - a number, a score. Much more important than the number is what you do with it.

That's well above average (100 and 108). Mentally challenged is 75 and below and mensa (top 2% of high IQ) starts at 150. So you are in a wonderful place above average. Your age should have been calculated already so your IQ today at 124 should be relatively static throughout your lifetime as it is a measure of what test makers believe you should know at the age you are.

It's an above average score, the average IQ score is a 100. However, it's not quite Mensa, that has a requirement of at least 140.

124 is above average.
But remember that on line IQ tests are not very accurate, and tend to score you higher than normal.

124 is in the superior range, in the top 9% of the population.
But of course there are inherent limitations to any such test, and you score will vary from day to day.

You can't measure intelligence, because everyone has a different style of intelligence.
