It was beautiful alright, but that only keeps you satisfied for so long. Have you ever heard of something called island fever?

The thought of not being able to roam free for at least 3000 miles east before plunging into the Atlantic would drive me nuts after 10-14 days. That's one of the reasons when I go to Hawaii, I will only stay up to 2 weeks.

DON'T YOU KNOW HOW THE SERIES ENDED??

They DID get off the island, in the movie "Escape from Gilligan's Island" and soon after decided that the world had left them behind, and didn't want to try and be a part of it. They then returned to the island, where they built a castaway resort and lived happily ever after. Check out the site below...

I know why the girls would want to leave, look at the guy choices on the island. Gilligan, the Captain, Mr. Howell. The professor was the only decent one and I always thought he was gay. The guys had a couple good choices with Ginger and Mary Ann.

For the ladies: The only single men were the Professor, Skipper, and Gilligan. The only do-able one was the professor, and he was too busy making coconut transistor radios to be interested.

For the men: Ginger was a whore but wouldn't give it up because she was afraid of stretch marks, and Maryann was too goody-goody.

In general, Ginger wanted an oscar, Maryann wanted to go to Bible college, the millionairre and his wife wanted to spend their money, the professor wanted to win the Nobel Prize for growing fungus, and Gilligan wanted to run away with the Skipper to some state that recognizes civil unions.

the genuine tale is I have been given them off the Island. The media used the word rescued. i did no longer rescue any of them. I set the Island on hearth and that all of them swam as far as they might. Sorry all of them drowned.

I agree. No work, no worries. I'd be like the old couple and just lay around drinking alcohol all day... with my high heels and furry coats... those would be some fun days.

Great weather, private beach, all the coconut milk you can drink, and, while they didn't show it on TV, you just know that after a while Ginger and Mary Ann were gonna start putting out.
