My husband and I have a strong bond over many things, and we have a strong bond over shaving. Here is what we do. I shave his face, back of his neck and entire back and he shaves my armpits and legs and gives me a relaxing back rub. Granted, my husband could shave his own face and back of his neck, but he is not able to shave his back. It is not so much that he looks like a gorilla, but he would have some back hair if I did not keep his back shaved and smooth. Since I do keep his back shaved and smooth, I get the back rub. Sometimes even a massage on my feet. Some would say this is a weird arrangement, but how could something so WONDERFUL and doing something SO NICE for each other be weird? I hear of wives where their husband's will not even let them touch them with a razor. I find that sad. This is yet just another STRONG connection between my husband and me. What do married couples think of this arrangement?

The more personal things one does with their mate creates a stronger bond. The stronger the bond , the more likely the marriage succeeds. You do what many only wish!!

I don't do it ( except the back of his neck cuz he can't reach) but I don't see anything wrong with it. It would be a bit awkward angle wise to have my husband shave my legs and stuff if you bond over it then good for you! I suppose people have bonded over stranger things than that.

Well, hey, if it is something that you both share and enjoy it, and it is not hurting anyone then what the heck! Many couples have different ways of caring for, showing their love for one another. It is really no different than taking a shower together and washing each other, or any other task that involves caring for one another! Sounds like you both have a strong bond, with lots of trust! Hey, if it works for you, go for it, and have fun doing it!

I think that it is nice that couples have a connection to where they can do that. In my case my husband would ask me once in a while to help shave the back of his neck to get those lose hairs that he cannot reach, that is only how far I would go.
But we do have other arrangements....whoever cooks the other does the dishes. Every couple should please their loved one one way or another even if society thinks it's gross or crazy!

It sounds like a wonderful arrangement. My husband shaves me down there when needed and I find it very relaxing.

Think it is a great segway into some potentially exciting sexutal encounters.
Congrats on being able to share something unique & yet still intimate with hubby.

I think it's odd, but pretty cool. Sounds like a good way to keep a bond. Can't piss each other off or you might get sliced. :-)

OK - whatever works for you guys - my friend used to trim her husband's pubics, so what you 2 do sounds mild compared to that.
