I believe that everyone has psychic power. Intuition is part of this power. However, society, religious groups and others don't encourage this natural power - does just the opposite, by discouraging this phenomenon! (When people don't 'think' for themselves, they are so much easier to lead.)
Saying this, I would like to mention that people have different degrees of natural 'talent' in the intuitive powers. Just like I believe everyone can sing - some sing better than others, some have more talent that others. The same goes for psychic powers.

On some level, we all have a degree psychic ability but it would better to class it s a natural skill rather than a power.
Being psychic is more about being sensitive to your environment. Simply put, you are more in tune Than others.
Just as the blind have a heighten senses of smell and hearing, those with a "6th sense" have a heightened awareness. I would suggest though that it is something to exercise and not abuse.
Be careful that you do not rule out the obvious because you "trust" your intuition or psychic ability. Often, what is right in front of you really is right in front of you.

It's just part of life! Well in this case, whoever you may be refering to's life!
What does he mean by psychic anyway? There are so many abilitles refered to as being psychic, does he implant his feelings into you or read them? Empathy.
Yep, go find out that one then we can discuss if it's a skill or not because some of such abilities can be trained or so to speak.
Eitherway, I'll classify it as talent rather than natural skill because it might be something he is more prominent at but it doesn't mean only he can do it.

I answered a similar question from somebody before.
Everybody has psychic ability to an extent. Mother always knows if something is going wrong with her child. Two close friends and, sometimes, even strangers can look at each other and they know what another one is thinking.
Like any ability, musical, mechanical,etc. psychic ability needs to be developedd. I do not think there is anything supernatural in it.
Some people have more talent in this area than others, but they do not work on there abilities. Others have a little less talent but work hard and develope their abilities. It is like in any other area of human activity: the achieved result is somewhere in the middle.
When this result is achieved, through hard work or natural talent,
than it becomes a psychic power.

We are all born psychic. Some of us turn it off - like a switch as we age. What you are refferring to is not power, but rather a natural skill. Power develops with usage, and anyone can obtain it.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

In my opinion I think it's a skill because not many people would have that. Now power that would be something you consider to have if it's for you to use it against a some one or not. There is a difference

just a natural ability to dupe the mental defectives that surround you. it's not much of a power or a skill. you just need to have an IQ higher than a walnut, something which is rare these days. must be somethin they're putting in the water down there.

I was born Wiccan the blood runs long in our family.
