Check your local mall and also look at bridesmaids dresses. They tend to run around $100 and are easy alternatives to prom dress everone will have. Try a dress that comes in under your bust(a empire waist) or right under then flows out. A slinky dress could draw attention to areas you might not want to show. Good luck, have fun at prom.

gojane.com is fantastic! They have a decent selection, and most of the dresses come in several colors! People would never guess that you only paid about $75. They have sale dresses as well, you might even be able to get your jewelry & a pair of shoes on clearance for $100.

hey there. gosh I remember prom dress shopping. I went to all these stores: Windsor ( they have some really good deals going on right now on dresses) JcPenny's( they have really cute dresses for under 100) macy's ( which may be a little out of your price range) David's Bridal actually has some dresses for under 100 too. Also check out small independent bridal stores... they often have gorgeous dresses that they are clearing out from last season. hope that helps.... :-)

Look at the large department stores like Penneys or Dillards and see if they have dresses on sale. My 11 year old daughter wanted one to wear just for fun and we found at Penney for $20.

the thing is not a lot of places have dresses for $100 usually they are around $100 to $400 so you have to bargin shop or atleast try to find a good deal. & the simpler you go, the cheaper the dress is.

try to check if u have like TJ Maxx or Marshels around your house. u may find a very expansive designer dress under ur badgut. also try forever 21 thier dresses are really nice and very affordable. i would recommand a halter dress, or a u neck dress cuz both cuts will make ur chest bigger. also add big jewlary or a big bow around ur waist to really make u stand out.

i don't know where you live but Dillards department store always has great sales on formal and cocktail dresses. i bought prom dresses for both my senior and junior prom and paid $5 for each. Seriously, dresses from the pervious season are on sale around prom time.

wear a dark solid color. black or blue is best. maybe a strapless to focus more on your shoulders. maybe couple inches below the knees. i think longer the better but that'll be uncomfortable. slick your hair back and put it up. accentuates your neckline. and most of all, have fun. nothing's more sad than a pretty girl without a smile.
