It's a very social job, but requires lots of strength and energy. The money bites. But....there is something to be said for a calm and simple life. Do they offer any retirement or insurance benefits.
Benefits are the biggie here. If you've got those, do whatever you want. If you don't like it quit and do something else.
There is no shame in ANY job if you like it, do your best, and can pay your bills.
Personally, I'd rather give children's piano lessons all day, but it wouldn't pay the bills or get me benifits.
Thinking back, I left my original chosen profession and the world did not end.

Depends if you are actually checking groceries or making donuts in the early morning. Sometimes I would rather stock the soda shelves.

No way. I couldn't imagine dealing with the public all day long, let alone working for such a small wage.

Well, they say that 'any work is honorable'. I would think that, as long as you can live ok and you dont hate what you are doing? Why not? I wouldnt mind it at all. Get to meet lots of people. :)
