Use ear plugs, I also saw a commercial once where they had this spray for people who snored too much and loudly. You spray it in the back of your throat and it is supposed to calm it down. I would try googling it.

Oh I have been there! It go so bad that I refused to let hubby sleep in the room, especially when I was pregnant with our son and working 12 hour shifts. I made him go see a doctor and they ordered him to go do a sleep study. He has severe sleep apnea. The reason we snore is because our airways are kinda blocked and our body is sucking in the air so hard, it makes a snoring sound (ever snorted when laughing...same concept). I suggest you just plain out be honest and tell him you're concerned for his health and want to make sure there's nothing wrong with him because he snores so loud. It can effect his heart and oxygen in-take. If he's not getting enough oxygen, then he's not sleeping well...if he's not sleeping well, then he's going to be tired during the day, which leads to sleepiness during the day and he may be less motivated to do physical activity, which can cause weight gain..weight gain makes it more difficult to breath at night...which as you can see is a vicious cycle. One other issue my hubby has is oversized tonsils. They are blocking his airway and has to get them taken out. Another issue is he's overweight. So the combination of the bunch make it hazardous to his health. Thankfully he's getting it handled soon! *edit - talk to him...and not in a finger pointing way..just be honest and ask him to please see a doctor. If he needs more convincing, have him look at a sleep study website or info about sleep apnea. It can be resolved!!*

Consider headphones or even a different bedroom. Also get your husband to talk to his Dr. he may have a problem with his nasal passage that causes him to snore loudly or he just has to learn to sleep on his side.

I have the same problem with my husband. We have tried the strips, ear plugs, and everything else we can think of. The only thing that works is sleep in seperate beds until he goes to the doctor and gets it fixed. It sucks not being able to sleep with him considering we have only been married for 3 months, but he understands we both need sleep. Good luck.

yuck, I feel for you. My ex's was so loud you could hear it from downstairs. We almost never slept together because I am a bear when I dont have enough sleep. I even worked nights for a while because of this. However, because HE didn't think it was a serious problem, we ended up splitting later on because I felt he was selfish for not at least addressing this issue. He may have a medical problems... will he see a doctor? Mine never would, not his problem, so he didnt care...hopefully your guy isnt like this! I tried earplugs, fans on, tv on many times to no avail.

Easy...if you have had him checked out by a doctor, the next step is simple.

Next time he is in a snore fest, creep out of bed and walk around quietly to the other side. Scare the hell out of him. Then, go to bed. You should fall asleep before he gets back to bed...if not, do it again.

Continue this randomly, not every time, until he is either learned to fall asleep after you or he is in another room.

Take half a tablet of sleeping pills. Not too often as it is addictive. Or you can let him turn to his side to stop his snoring.

Short of him having surgery, nothing cures snoring.
