Bush told college graduates during a speech that it didn't matter if you were a "C" student; that you could still become president.
So now what will be another part of his legacy. That it's just fine to lie so blatantly and so often? And that the better liar you are, the more changes you have to become pesident?
How pathetic. How profoundly pathetic.

None of the answers were good. I was speaking of Bush, not Clinton.Lies that led to an unnecessary war, not a lie about a *******.

I agree it`s wrong but we as parents are no better telling them about Santa Claus. I think in these times (unfortunately) that isn`t even a issue. Kids learn bad stuff is acceptable now-a-days at a young age. Like I said unfortunately !!!

There isn't any proof to the liberal rhetoric that Bush lied. As for Clinton, well, he's a proved sociopath and lied all the time, right to YOUR face on national TV. Don't believe that you are privy to all the facts and assumptions that the federal government makes. As for education and the presidency, there are plenty of presidents without college educations and a few without formal educations. Now, look at the left's political hero's-Hillary, wife of a politically savvy liar and she is willing to waffle herself to get votes. Kerry, Gore, the list can go on. You need to look up at how the people who work closely with these democrats view them. Hillary is viewed as a control freak with Gore even being worse. These democrats, supposedly for the people, are all elitist wanna-be's who have complete disdain for the American public and people like you buy into their lies, hook, line, and sinker.

Yeah... Bush is the most dishonest president we've ever had! That's right!

BAH! These rants REALLY get to me. As others have said, politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle lie! I'll guarentee people like Nancy Pelosi lied just this past election cycle! It's NOT a Republican or conservative problem. It is NOT a George Bush problem. It is a problem with politics PERIOD.

Our children learned not to have respect for the office of President because of Clinton not Bush. Before Clinton the office of President was a job to aspire to, he even told them oral sex was not sex. What hypocrites will say and do, is amazing.
Edit
some people may get angry when nasty people make insulting false statements about their President.

Rich B speaks the truth. What really gets frustrating is the fact that there are so few people asking real questions in this section of the forum.

Instead, like this question, people are instead using "questions" as soapboxes for their personal opinions/annoyances/disaproval about various thing and people.

I may have to go somewhere else. But it's so hard to turn away from the madness.

Ok, Clinton lied and had an affair - great role model there!

So what if you have a brilliant mind but are just an ok student? Why can't you become President? I think your grades are not as important as your experience, your morals and your values.

If you want them to believe in honest politicians ( an oxymoron) then expect them to always believe in the Easter Bunny.

Yup.

Bush lied. Kerry lied. Clinton lied. Cheney lied.

Both sides lie; don't just blame Bush.
