Hey, that could happen. Way back '07 & '08 (1900's) The Cubs beat The Tigers both years.
Wouldn't that be nice.
We'd have to split. Tigers on '07
and The Cubbies in '08.

Since I'm originally from Chicago, I'd love to see the Cubs get back to the World Series next year or in the next few years after they're done reshuffling their personnel. However, I doubt that the Tigers will be back in the series in 07 or 08 because some of their players are getting older. I want the Cubs to match up and beat either the White Sox in a subway series, or against the Red Sox in a battle of curses.

now here it would be fun, but it isnt gonna happen, i think the tigers if they stay healthy are favorites in the AL, but the cubs they are signing only stars, and that usually doesnt work especially if there is not any chemistry on the team. I say the Cards tigers again in 07 but 08 the cubs might but it together

I can't see the Cubs going to a World Series or finish above .500 for that matter until Prior and Wood play a full season together. Cubs really need pitching!

That would be interesting, but i would also like to see Rockie vs Royals.
these two teams the the most unexpected teams to be good and it would be funny to see them both playing a WS game.

Tigers, possible. Especially with Gary Shefield to help out.
Cubs. I don't think so.
But I would like to see it also.
