She played Elle. Why is she off the show ? It's obvious that she's not coming back. They've already found a replacement for her. What happened?

The way it seemed to go down on the show was she probably got a better acting oppurtunity. She was doing just fine and then they came up with a crazy way to write her off. Criminal Minds isn't really the type of show that needs to kill off characters because they kill off enough other people all the time. Think of Law and Order, the only time anyone was written off the show was when people left; Benjamin Bratt, Angie Harmon, and Jill Hennessy, to name a few.
On Imdb.com she has an acting credit for a 2006 movie but no other and they usually have movies that are 3 years away from production. She could have other oppurtunities or maybe she is just taking time out for family or to start a family.

She shot the bad guy at the end of the show about 3 weeks ago.

I'm kind of glad she's gone, I never cared for her. Don't know why, something about her mouth bugged me...
