Simple answer - I don't know. But I remember reading a few years back that Stan Laurel may have been. There is a likeness I suppose. But Eastwood has refuted the claims.

No, after the start of Clint, somebody heard mrs Eastwood say ( properly right here`s yet another super mess you have gotten me into ) and that's while the rumours all started, yet i think of they are comparable, and might purely prefer to declare that Stan and Ollie are the terrific ever.
