Well, I have XM, but their features and prices aren't all that diferent really.

You can buy a home adapter kit for an XM radio for less than $40 US dollars. that would include the Satellite antenna, a stand for your particular radio, necessary cables, and a remote control.

Generally for the typical XM receiver, you have to hook it up to the stereo amplifier portion of the home stereo system. Usually the Aux or one of the unused inputs. Your home stereo acts as the amplifier and sends the sound to the speakers. (Basic satellite 'radios' aren't really radios at all, they don't come with the amplifier and speakers, they are just a receiver and then must send the signal to some other set of amp/speakers.

Satellite Radio is great! I think it is well worth the $12 a month or so it costs for a subscription.

convinced! those kits were designed to be cellular from their unique region. no longer in common words are you able to turn those contraptions from vehicle to vehicle, you need to purchase a house equipment and bypass it for your abode stereo also. So, all you'll opt to purchase/deploy is yet another vehicle equipment interior the second one vehicle. Then, you'll detach the unit out of your vehicle and connect it to the second one vehicle. wish this facilitates.
