IE 7 is causing loads of problems, its incompatible with some applications and is always giving me headaches!
I think it was released far too early without proper testing...;

Try another Browser. Or go back to using your old one.
Personlly I use Opera and find it alot better than IE. I also stopped IE from accessing the net through a firewall as it created problems for my PC to. How ever Opera does not use Active X controls so some sites wont support downloads. A small price to pay for a trouble free PC. I can download around 95% of what i want through the browser I use.
Solutions try running a registery issue program like Ccleaner (free to download) as it will remove old temp internet files and look for issues in your registory and remove them. If you get reapeated issues you can track down the program that creates them and stop it from running.
Run the usual virus and anti adware/spyware soft ware. And at least once a month run a disk check. (Type Chkdsk /r in the Run window by clicking start then run) This will check your hard drive for errors and attempt to recover bad sectors.
Or you could try system restore by restoring ur PC to before the download of IE7 but that leaves you without it.
I still have IE7 but only use it to download something if its unavoidable (usually it updates) other wise its Opera for me
Hope that helps

Hi, a lot of websites do not support IE7 yet, it would be best to uninstall it back to IE6 until more web designers can run their sites on it. Early 2007 would be best. And hopefully MS may have some fixes for it as well by that time. I use Mozilla 2.0 any way its a lot more secure.

I had problems after installing IE7 with HP Director although icon was there it did not respond. Fortunately I looked on Google and someone else had the same problem. I uninstalled IE7 and everything works as normal. Suggest you do the same until MSN gets rid of hiccoughs ..

When I updated to IE7 and within an hour I had spyware and malware galore on my computer. They make it nearly impossible to roll back to an older version. I started solely using Mozilla Firefox after this happened. I say they never should have allowed it to be released, even the beta testers were having major issues with it when it was released. I say go to Mozilla and never look back.
You can download it from their site.

I have had the same problems and unless you really need IE7 I would recommend that you go to system restore and restore your system to the day before you changed to IE7 - I have done this as I experienced all kinds of problems too - it reverted back to my previous version of IE

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

8. that's been in beta for a whilst now, however the surprising version i think of replaced into in basic terms released some days in the past. they're more advantageous internet standards plenty when you consider that IE6 so it relatively is a very nearly a good browser now. besides the shown fact that I nevertheless use FireFox generally.

Do you know what your task bar is? It is in the lower right hand corner. Look there and see if you have indexing turned on.
Also go to Start - Control Panel - Add / Remove Programs. Drill down until you see Microsoft Internet Explorer and click on that. Choose remove and now you should be able to choose repair. try doing a repair to see if that help
