Could explain the problem in more depth?
Are you using a phone line connection? One thing that could have happened is that there could have been a line knocked down or broken that could have problems with your connection. (I know that where we used to live, rain would weaken our phone connection sometimes. While it was still easy to talk on the phone, the internet speed took a hit.)
