Well he was never good...... but BEFORE we knew he was evil and he killed that 'character', lets not spoil it with names.

I hate both. and i don't know why he makes life so difficult for harry. I cant wait for the Seventh Installment cos he killed Dumbledore or so we think.

Where did we see the good Severus Snape? Until I definitively hear otherwise, Snape will ALWAYS be evil to me. After he killed that central character in Book 6....(not spoiling it for those who haven't yet read book 6, the few that are out there..:o))...I can't forgive him for that. If he wants my reprive he's got some MAJOR grovelling to do....
And Snape is definitely better as a character evil - just gives Harry that much more of a challenge as an archnemesis. You're constantly unsure of which way he's going to go, which makes it that much more intriguing...

I think Alan Rickman is a great actor.. although I never thought there was a "Good Snape"... He is EVIL!!! Wonder what's going to happen to him in the 7th. book..... I like his character as "BAD" as possible...

As already said, as long as Alan Rickman plays him, BOTH!! ^_~
He def did come off as evil in the 1st film *until he revealed he was on the good guys side..or is he? *mysterious music plays* I'd keep him as is...supposedly good, but you've not quite 100 % sure.
As for Book 7, I think something fishy is going on there. Yes, we know who he supposedly murdered, but I think he was told by said victim to do the deed. We will see

the bad becuase i when they tried to convince people in the first book taht he was good it didnt work for me i knew it all along
and i think dumbledore will come back cause he said in the first one taht nothign could really kill him and hogwarts would always be there and so wud he..he will come back am teling ya
