Carbon Monoxide is a product of incomplete combustion. Many people will use a cook stove to heat their house if the power goes out. If you have natural gas in your house you should have a CO detector anyway so you'll be covered. many heaters are designed to be ventless so they are safe to operate. If your stove is not operating properly and has a lot of yellow flame, which can be an indication of incomplete combustion, then there is a risk. If you have a nice even blue flame then you should be good to go.

lower than common situations, any burning organic gas, like Propane, Butane, Ethane, or Methane, will emit in common words 2 by goods - H20 and CO2. If the hearth isn't adjusted precise, or some thing is incorrect with one in each and every of your burners, CO may form. even with the undeniable fact that CO will burn also because it truly is lacking an O. yet that does no longer mean you won't be able to get killed. CO2 is as deadly as CO. CO will upward push more beneficial interior the point of the room than CO2. So evaluate it that both are risky and may kill you. i does no longer do it, yet I really have seen it done

Under normal conditions, any burning natural gas, like Propane, Butane, Ethane, or Methane, will emit only two by products - H20 and CO2. If the fire is not adjusted right, or something is wrong with one of your burners, CO might form. However CO will burn also because it is lacking an O.
But that does not mean you can't get killed. CO2 is as deadly as CO. CO will rise higher in the level of the room than CO2. So consider it that both are dangerous and can kill you. I would not do it, but I have seen it done

if you're asking this question then you really should try it. Of course you can, and why would you do that anyway, it would be more expensive than any other means. You can buy a spaceheater at wal-mart for like twenty bucks and just use some blankets to keep warm. However, be very careful with spaceheaters.
