I saw that it said he sustained a head injury in practice Wednesday, but what kind? How long will he be out?

He took a slap shot to the head during practice. He was wearing a helmet but was still knocked unconscious for about 30 seconds. The Blues placed him in IR just in case. Test results were not immediately available.

He was knocked out by a slapshot in practice and has suffered a pretty serious concussion. They placed him on the IR as a precaution (and so they could recall a goalie from the minors) and he is supposed to have a cat scan tomorrow to see if the injury is more serious than just a concussion.

A puck to the head during practice. He'll be out at least 7 days since they put him on injured reserve.

He took a slap shot to the head during practice, though they are saying he might be out for a few weeks.
