HELL NO!
I HATE Coughlin!

A good head coach (Parcells, Belichick etc.) know how to get the most out of their players. The Giants have a world of talent on both sides of the ball and yet they can't win the big game. Coughlin can't make adjustments during the game and it shows.
He's outcoached every game. Barber called him out after the embarassing 23-0 loss to The Panthers in the playoffs last year and again called out by Shockey after they got drubbed by The Seahawks in week 3.

The players dont' respect Coughlin, They committ stupid penalties every game and look flat half of the time. They don't play hard for this guy. Coughlin needs to go. I really believe Tiki Barber is retiring because he hates Coughlin. I'd retire too since I hate Coughlin.

It's amazing over the years how many GREAT coaches The Giants let go instead of promoting from within. In the late 50's The Giants had two assistant coaches by the names of Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi (how'd they do?) They also had a defensive coordinater in the 80's and early 90's named Bill Belichick. How's he done? What about Sean Payton? He's done a hell of a job with The Saints, not to mention John Fox who's done nothing but win in Carolina.

Instead The Giants get coaches like Ray Handley, Jim Fassel, Dan Reeves, and Tom Coughlin. At least Fassel brought them to a Super Bowl.
The Giants will never win a big game with Coughlin at head coach.

This is really the pending question in New York City, aint it?

I mean, i was all excited when he came here, but he's completely lost control of the team.
I hate T.O. Period. BUT, throughout all the mayhem this year, he NEVER spoke out against the Tuna. And vice versa. Due to respect.
In the 80s, you never saw Mark Bavaro or Phil Simms or Lawrence Taylor say they got "outcoached" regarding the Tuna. Beacuse there was respect there.
These Giants, however, are boldly stating how incompetent Coughlin is. And i dont see him getting any respect in the near future.
These Giants LOVED Jim Fassel, but he couldnt get them to win. They fired him.
This coach has NO respect of his team. And theyre losing again. What do YOU think is gonna happen?

No. In Football, more so then any other sport, a team needs to be cohesive. And thats where the coach comes in. Many differant players on the field and 1 week link can cost you everything. A coach needs to keep his players working as a team. Clearly the giants are suffering in this area. Its time to mix it up in NY. Couglin just doesnt fit in well there.

no i think tom coughlin is a goner after this season regardless of whether or not they make the playoffs he has totally lost the respect and control of his football team and that will ultimately lead to his downfall as coach of the new york giants

I think the only way Coughlin keeps his job is if he makes the postseason, but I would fire him anyway. His team shows no discipline and that's the coaches fault.

No he should go. He came with a rep of being a tough cookie yet he has lost the locker room and the confidence of the NY media. Under them circumstances his position is in jeopardy. Oh and there is a new GM coming in next year who will want to bring his own man in I should think.

No. He's lost the team and it seems to me he's running the offense to the strength of his personnel.
