I think we should put convicted child molester's pictures on postage stamps. That way, they get seen all the time and people will recognize them better..
Any thoughts?

Child molesters should be punished for life, I'm sorry to those that don't agree.
Yes, they're sick- that doesn't excuse their behavior.
You want us to forget what they did? When a child suffers, it's our jobs as adults to suffer for them- when you can cure the healing of the victim or the victim's family- we'll talk.
In the meantime, I have no problem with skinning them alive if it might prevent a repeat offense..

Sounds good to me. They need to be recognized by everyone.

That's a great idea. But maybe not stamps, maybe like on posters at your local Walmart or something of people in the region. That would be too many stamps to remember, and I doubt the government would print them off. Every city has a Wal-Mart or another store though, that way the community can look at it and find out who those sickos are in there area. Something needs to be done since the government and courts don't seem to pay much attention to those sick you know whats.

Ummm, interesting. Would it be like a popularity contest? Would anyone buy them?? Would wierdos on the internet collect them and sell them for a markup on EBAY? There's a lot of strange things that could occur as a result. But, would it help prevent them from commiting further crimes? ... ... ...awfully tiny picture--not sure if people would look that close and be diligent--or they'd go around mistaking the wrong people for the offenders. Don't think it'd be too great an idea. Might create more problems than solve them.

No.
I don't think they should be remembered on a postage stamp.
A postage stamp is minuscule, and does not have brevity of something so serious.
I'm sorry, but Child Molesters should simply be dealt with and forgotten not remembered. It's a crime worse than murder in my book.
Besides, who really looks at postage stamps?

Oh yeah, that's a good one. Have their picture taken as soon as they're released from prison so they can't hide from the National Child Molesters Picture Committee. Or tattoo a permanent "P" for Perv on their friggin foreheads so they can wear their shame right out in the open. Anyone who would hurt a child deserves no damn mercy! There's no excuse for what they do. NONE. Let one of my kids come tell me some freak touched them in bad places. They had better hope their asses get arrested before I find them. When I'm done the sick bastard would beg me to kill him!

At first I thought Ewwww - but that's actually a good idea.
I printed out pictures to hang on our bulletin board at home to warn the kids which molesters lived near us and school. I was shocked that there were over a dozen within minutes of the house. The kids were also shocked to see female molesters. The kids said "but they look so normal". Scary.

I thought that having your face on a stamp was a honor. If you did that, it would kinda cheapen the idea of having a celebrity or someone famous on stamps in the future. I like the idea of making their faces more public. Dedicate a page in the newspaper or show them on the evening news. I think that stamps wouldn't work. Besides, it would bring an ugly angle to the world of stamp collecting. :)

I'm not licking anything with a child molester on the other side. Besides, people don't really mail things as often as they used to.
I do agree that there should be some way to recognize them though

Haha....postage stamps are often used to celebrate an individual or something significant....I think by putting molesters faces on them, it'd confuse people.
We should put molester's faces on milk cartons.

That's a good idea. Not only will people be aware of them in their area but sending mail far away just in case the molestors were to ever move.
