The Bible is not copyrighted, but the particular LAYOUT of a particular bible (including font, annotations, etc) would be. Thus, if you're reprinting a verse on a shirt, make sure that you're not copying the layout or font of a famous Bible, but just reproducing the words. That might just be one issue among many.

An attorney experienced in copyright should be able to answer this question for you very very quickly.

Good luck.

yet God did not make Scripture to be reprinted without blunders. guy translates the Hebrew and Greek and is derived up what he thinks it ability in our English translations. yet i don't see the blunders in Proverbs 22:7. however I see the KJV have been given a be conscious incorrect in this Scripture: Hebrews 6:4-6 - For it fairly is impossible for people who have been as quickly as enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly present, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the forged be conscious of God and the powers of the age to return, in the event that they fall away, to resume them lower back to repentance, on condition that they crucify lower back for themselves the Son of God, and placed Him to an open shame. ~ notice: The be conscious for enlightened additionally ability imbued (permeated) with saving information. The be conscious for tasted additionally ability partook of, enjoyed, experienced. so as that proves those people have been genuine born-lower back Christians. The be conscious for if here does not recommend if. It ability and, additionally, even, certainly, yet. The NASB has the final translation here: and then have fallen away The if isn't justifiable. It makes it seem as though in case you ever fall away then you certainly can under no circumstances come back. that may not real. and then have fallen away ability that they are and nonetheless interior the fallen away state. The Greek be conscious for fall away ability to deviate from the final direction, turn aside, wander, to blunders, to fall far flung from the real faith. yet you gets out of the fallen away state via not being deviated from the final direction, and not not having faith, via turning back to God. Then God's goodness leads them to repentance (Romams 2:4). This Scripture needless to say shows that a individual might grow to be a partaker of the Holy Spirit, needless to say a real born-lower back Christian, and yet fall away and be lost.

what bible translation? that is the key to the answer. If it is King James (old english) it is public domain and do all you want. if it is another version, you need to check with the copyright holder. most bible publishers of other translations have specific rules about using verses - just check with them.

god bless

Hmmmm.... Gee, I don't think you really have to worry about paying any royalties to the author. When was the last time God took anyone to court?

By the way, whoever gave me a thumbs down, you can kiss my pimple-strewn butt.
