What would be a great watch for a guy being deployed to Iraq?

Not a bright one, that's for sure. Go to the PX and ask. They will tell you what the troops are wanting.

One that is sand proof. My fiance is in Iraq right now. He has a watch made by fossil but its a sports watch. It still works. They range in price from $40 to $200. His was about 60.
