I had that exact same problem with my old monitor (Dell 17" CRT) and no one seemed to know a quick fix. Lucky me, that at the same time, my tv beside my comp broke as well, so I bought two 19" flat screen tv's.

Seriously though, you'll probably have to get a new one. Tigerdirect.com sells them pretty cheap - top of the line, brand name doesn't really matter, as long as you find a style and price you like. Get something with a good warranty though, cause if it does turn out to be ****, you can at least get your money back.

It's the power supply that is running out of spec. Usually it is a sign that your monitor is going to die anytime soon. Better save up and be on the look out for some sales on LCD monitors.

The tricky stress must be broken.. i'm particular she knows precisely what you're conversing approximately, all of us. Bravo. "i'm no longer precisely an somewhat tech savvy individual so i might like it if the respond isn't indecipherable." Like she is going to be taking her pc aside.
