My mom's a fan of old Western shows like the Lone Ranger...Can u name some other western shows like that one?

I wanted to get her a huge collection of the westerns, but am not sure where to begin.

In the 50's and 60's there were wetserns on every night of the week. Gunsmoke, Have Gun, Will Travel, Lawman, Cheyennne, Laredo, High Chapparal, The Big Valley, Bonanza, Maverick and Shane, just to name a few. This was the era of the "adult" western and it would be difficult to find anotyher as simplistic as The Lone Ranger, unless you go for something like Roy Rogers or Gene Autry. There are several reference books on this subject. Good luck.

The Roy Rogers show, Annie Oakley, Gene Autry, The Lone Ranger, Zorro, Rawhide, Wagon Train, The Virginian, Fury, Hopa Long Cassidy, F Troop, Cisco Kidd, Wild Bill Hickock, Older John Wayne Westerns, Tex Ritter, Rex Allen Show, Lawman, The Rifleman, Wanted Dead or Alive, there are so many I just can't think of them all, Taxas Rangers, Old Bob Steele Films.
