It can be weeks, it can be months. It really, truely varies person to person. I got braxton hicks at about 5 months pregnant with each of my last two babies.

Braxton Hicks contractions can come and go though your whole pregnancy. You will know the difference when you go into actually labor. The pain is a lot stronger and last longer as well.

I had braxton hicks from about 6 months up until shortly before i went into labor. It varies though. Some women don't get them. Others get them through most of their pregnancy. Talk to your OB if they're particularly painful or don't go away. They get more frequent as labor gets closer. You'll be fine.

My friend is due 20 Dec. She's been having Braxton Hicks for a couple of months. She said that they are getting worse, so she thinks she'll be having it before her due date. This is her second child.

i started having braxton hicks at about 6 months b/c i was a waitress and very active. it just feels like tight around ur belly button but as long as they don't bother you, don't worry about 'em. once you feel them starting, take a break and drink a glass of water and put your feet up. if they become painful or continue for more than an hour, call your doctor

lol. Ive had braxon hicks since i was 4 months pregnant. A lot of women have them clear through.
Until they get more progressive, stronger and closer to gether, they really dont bring on labor, just prepare your body and the baby for it.
